Orbis Gratii Telescopic Sandpan Stand is our latest and most advanced universal stand that fits all handpans, tongue drums and some other percussions. We have incorporated years of experience and user feedback into a new model that combines all the benefits of our popular Orbis Universal Stand with distinct advantages: a more minimalist design, lighter weight and improved access to the bottom notes of double-sided instruments. The sophisticated profile of the upper section features a dual-radius curve, making the stand suitable for instruments of various shapes, diameters, and curvatures. We have managed to maintain stability and reliability while achieving a more ergonomic design. Our new stand is suitable for everything from the largest handpans to a wide variety of tongue drums, as well as many clay instruments and other percussions! P.S. And we also made a new essential addon (also compatible with our classic stands and Hex) - micropohe holder (optional)
Additional Options:
- Removable Microphone Mount – Easily attaches to one of the legs of the Orbis Gratia stand, allowing the microphone to be positioned at various distances from the instrument.
- Carrying Case – Semi-hard carrying case for the stand (also features a compartment for a microphone holder).
- Color Options – Natural Ash (unstained) and stained Ash – Black, Blue, Green, Red, White, Brown. Custom paint finishes available.
Main features
- Versatility – suitable for the vast majority of handpans and tongue drums. The shape of the stand is designed to accommodate instruments of various diameters and surface curvatures. The Gratia Orbis telescopic stand is ideal for double-sided handpans.
- Adjustability – allows playing while sitting on a chair, on the floor, or standing; adjustable for people of all heights. Can be used without legs as a desktop stand
- Excellent access to all notes – the shape of the upper part provides excellent access to the lower notes of double-ended instruments.
- Safety and excellent grip – protects the instrument thanks to the well-designed top shape and large, soft, bimaterial pads that provide support, cushioning, and doesn’t affect sound. Unlike bridges with "horns," it is completely safe for double-ended handpans and tongue drums.
- Maintains the instrument's sound without altering it! Longer sustain than when playing on your lap or other stands. The handpan maintains the entire frequency spectrum and volume.
- Stability – stable, non-slip, and non-wobbling.
- Reliability and durability – made of high-quality materials: natural ash, thick-walled aluminum tube, and polyurethane.
- Ergonomics – minimalistic design provides unrivaled playing comfort and compactness (both assembled and disassembled).
- Ease of use – no unnecessary parts, simplifying operation and increasing reliability.
- Quick assembly/disassembly – assembles and disassembles in half a minute.
- Appearance and design – the stand lives up to its name - we named our stand after the three Graces (Gratii or Charites), goddesses of beauty, grace, joy and good deeds. And it is truly graceful! And the natural wood gives the Gratia stand a refined, respectable look.
